This policy explains what personal data The Ad Hive collects through www.theadhive.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We keep it short and in plain English.
Who we are
The Ad Hive is a performance marketing agency based in Gurugram, Haryana, India. For anything in this policy, write to connect@theadhive.com.
What we collect
- What you send us in the application form: your name, work email, website, phone number (optional), the service you are interested in, your monthly ad spend range, the platforms you use, and any message you write.
- Technical data: your IP address, browser type and the page you applied from. We use this to block spam and keep the site secure.
- Usage data: pages visited, time on site and how you arrived (for example, a campaign link). We collect this through Google Analytics, which uses cookies.
We do not ask for, and do not want, sensitive personal data such as health, financial account or government ID details.
Why we use it
- To read your application, look at your account before we reply, and get back to you.
- To prepare for and hold the discovery call, and to send a proposal if you ask for one.
- To stop spam and abuse of the site.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
We use your data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in running a secure website. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Hostinger hosts this website and stores form submissions.
- Google provides our email (Google Workspace), spam protection (reCAPTCHA) and Google Analytics. reCAPTCHA is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Some of these providers store data on servers outside India. They are bound by their own security and privacy commitments.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies to tell visits apart and measure how the site is used. reCAPTCHA may set cookies to tell people from bots. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them, but the form needs reCAPTCHA to send.
How long we keep it
- Applications: up to 24 months after our last conversation, unless you become a client.
- Client records: for the length of the engagement, plus any period the law requires us to keep business records.
- Analytics data: according to our Google Analytics retention settings.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and similar laws elsewhere, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you
- correct or update it
- delete it
- withdraw your consent, after which we will stop using your data for the purposes above
- nominate someone to exercise these rights for you

Grievances
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, contact our grievance officer: Varun Mittal, Founder, The Ad Hive, Gurugram, Haryana, India, connect@theadhive.com. If we do not resolve it, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India or the data protection authority where you live.
Security
The site runs on HTTPS. Form submissions are stored in a password-protected admin area that only our team can access.
Children
This site is meant for businesses. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
